During slip production it is the first to sprout, consistently producing the most reliable slips. The vigor of this plant continues into the field, it is a fast and strong grower sure to give you a generous harvest at seasons end. Roots are starchy, dry, slightly sweet, and good for storage; good in savory dishes and mixed mashes.
