(Trifolium pratense) A biennial clover prized for its rapid growth, reaching heights of 10-18 inches.

This versatile green manure crop not only adds organic nitrogen to the soil but also provides flowers that can be harvested for tea. Sow Red Clover in the spring or fall between taller crops to deter weeds and improve soil health.

For optimal germination in summer heat, consider using buckwheat as a nurse crop. The clover will grow slowly under the buckwheat until fall frost kills the buckwheat, allowing the clover to establish quickly without the need for fall tilling.

Each packet contains ¼ pound (114g) of Red Clover seeds, which is sufficient to sow 500 square feet. Additionally, the seeds are coated with Apex Green Hydroloc, an organically-approved blend of minerals and beneficial bacteria.
