Tomato TastingWhere to Find Us!

We are constantly adding new events. Let us know if you have an event or know of one where Southern Exposure should be represented.

We give workshops and presentations on seed saving, heirloom gardening, and seed growing as a farm enterprise; host seed swaps; host variety tastings; distribute seed saving resources; and love opportunites to meet our customers and growers! We'll be bringing varieties to several tomato tastings this summer. Check back for more information.

Tomato TastingGrand Preview Dinner and Evening with Joel Salatin
Pre-Festival Activities on Friday, September 14th, include a variety of premium workshops and the Grand Preview Dinner & Evening with Joel Salatin.

Joel Salatin has given us salad bar beef, pastured poultry, eggmobile eggs, and pigaerator pork. His passionate defense of “small farms, local food systems, and the right to opt out of the conventional food paradigm” has brought fame to Polyface Farm, where he is a 3rd generation alternative farmer in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley.
