[Pre-1802, the same variety grown by Thomas Jefferson.] Beautiful ornamental climbing bean with purple stems and foliage. The pink-purple flowers are borne above the foliage and develop into reddish-purple pods. Grows 10 to 20' depending on conditions. Thick foliage cover makes a good screen. Especially recommended for arbors. Pkt. (8 g, approx. 20 seeds)
