We should have offered it years ago! This variety is one of the more productive, disease-resistant, and most widely adapted heirloom sweet peppers we have grown. It does well in the North as well as the deep South. The fruits are multi-dimensionally sweet and intensely flavored. 'Jimmy Nardello's Italian' is a multi-use heirloom banana-shaped pepper excellent for drying, frying, freezing, relishes, or salad use. Fruits are long, tapering, thin-walled, and slightly curved, 3/4" to 1-1/4" at the shoulder and 5 to 8" long.
