60 days. A Southern favorite. Excellent flavor and outstanding heat- and drought-tolerance. Heavy-yielding plants are bushy at the base with 24-36 in. runners and bear fleshy 4 in. pods. Used traditionally as a shell bean for winter baking, or as a stringless snap bean when harvested young for fresh, frozen, or canned use. (½ lb = 8 oz = 228 g)
