(Sesamum indicum) - Known for its high yield, this variety features impressive 8-ft stalks and white seeds similar to those commonly found in food markets. With a growing period of 150 days, it’s a robust addition to any garden.

Growing Instructions:

Sunlight: Thrives in full sun, requiring at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Vigorous, heat-loving plants.

Planting: Sow seeds 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep. Direct seed or transplant after the last danger of frost. Space plants at 8-24 inches apart.

Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged during the germination period. Once established, sesame plants are drought-tolerant and require minimal watering.

Support: Plants may benefit from staking.

Harvesting: Cut stalks when there are more brown pods than green. Stand them upright to dry, or cut dried stalks with open pods. Turn dried stalks upside down over a tarp or cloth, shake seeds out, and winnow.
